The Anti-Scam Education and Research Programme team would like to draw your attention to recent scam cases related to overseas job recruitment.
Below you may find the interview video of a victim who is a student from the Mainland and has been lured to Southeast Asian countries and detained to engage in illegal work. The victim saw an advertisement on Telegram recruiting actors. After interview, he “got the job” and went to Southeast Asia and was detained until he was recently rescued.
