The Anti-Scam Education and Research Programme team would like to draw your attention to recent scam cases related to overseas job recruitment.
You may read from recent news report that the Under Secretary for Security, Mr Michael Cheuk, led members of the dedicated task force from the Hong Kong Police Force and the Immigration Department to begin their itinerary in Thailand to meet with different parties and further follow up on cases that Hong Kong residents being lured to Southeast Asian countries and detained to engage in illegal work.

We would like to remind you to stay alert of any potential scams related to overseas job recruitment! The Police has also warned about potential scams related to overseas job recruitment!
