The Anti-Scam Education and Research Programme team would like to draw your attention to a recent scam case involving a university student in Hong Kong with a monetary loss of HK$9.2 million. 

Please be reminded that government officials from the Mainland or Hong Kong would NOT contact you directly via telephone. If you are in any doubt, please call the Police’s anti-deception hotline: 18222, or inform your RC warden or your teacher immediately.
